생선전 [Saeng-Sun-Jeon]
When we were visiting my parents some weekends ago, my mom made these egg-fried fish fillet as one of the side dishes for our brunch. Mom and dad had gone to the fish market in Newport Beach that morning to buy some fresh fish off the boat. It is needless to say the taste of fresh fish is simply incomparable to frozen seafoods. They are mildly chewy and soft that they simply melt in the mouth... This fried fish fillet goes well with rice, or as an anju for soju.
For 3 servings
Ingredients:
Fish fillet (1-2 lb, thinly sliced)
flour (1 cup)
eggs (2)
oil
salt and pepper

I don't have a recipe for dakdoritang "yet". I casually tried making it once before and it came out pretty good. So, I am now looking for an occasion to make it again so that I can post the recipe here.
However, I have to tell you that it won't be any time soon. My husband is allergic to chicken including its smell and even the look of it - he just can't stand chicken around him. So, I've been avoiding chicken in our kitchen except for the time when we have guests over or when we fight and I kinda take chicken as my ammunition against him. ^^
